How To Get A New Library Card
Beginning February 8, 2007, the requirements for obtaining a Reddick Library will be: A picture ID and proof of residency. All library cards will be valid for two years. People under the age of 18 need a parent or legal guardian to obtain a card. Please present either of the following when applying for a card:
If your photo ID has your current address:
Picture ID and one of the following:
Tax bill *Required for out of city residents*
Current utility bill
Lease agreement
Current pay stub
Official Mail (no personal letters)
If your photo ID does not have your current address:
Picture ID and two of the following:
Tax bill *Required for out of
city residents*
Current utility bill
Lease agreement
Current pay stub
Official Mail (no personal letters)
Renewing Current* Library Cards
Beginning February 8, 2007, the requirements for renewing
your current Reddick Library card have changed. A valid photo ID with proof of
residency is necessary. if your ID does not have your current address you need
to present your photo ID along with one of the following items:
Tax Bill
Recent utility bill
Lease agreement
Recent pay stub
Official mail (no personal letters)
If we have received returned mail on your account, you will need to show two items to verify you address. (Your photo ID with your current address and one item listed above or your photo ID without your current address and two items listed above.)
*If you library card is not current (meaning it expired more than six months ago and is no longer in our computer database) you will need to obtain a new library card.

FAX service to send: $3.00 for the first page, $1.00 each additional page

No international faxing.
Print materials, Music, and Books on cassette or CD :
One day’s grace and $.10 per day to a maximum of $5.00.
Movies and software:
One day’s grace and $1.00 per day to a maximum of $10.00.
When a patron has misplaced an item the staff will offer to renew the item three times giving the patron a chance to continue to search for the item(s).
Lost and Paid Current retail price of the book + $5.00 processing fee.
Lost and Paid items are nonrefundable.
The replacement fee for lost or damaged materials which are out of print is the current average retail price or retail price of a similar item.
