First Search**- An online service that gives library professionals and end users access to a rich collection of reference databases. With FirstSearch, materials in your library’s collection are highlighted in results from searches in dozens of leading databases. 

EBSCOhost Research Databases**- Designed for use in public libraries, this site offers more than 300 full text and secondary databases to help you find exactly what you need.

Business Searching Interface**- Provides business researchers with the highly refined tools they need, in order to conduct sophisticated searches for the business content that they require.

Consumer Health Complete**- This comprehensive resource for consumer-oriented health content is designed to support the information needs of patients, and to foster an overall understanding of health-related topics.

Chicago Tribune**-  The Chicago Tribune covers international and national news. The RedEye is a concise, commuter friendly daily news report. The Chicago Tribune Historical Archive includes obituaries and death notices from 1860 to 1984; morgue clippings from the 1920's to 1984; and front pages from the early 1900's to 1984. 

America's Newspapers- The largest searchable collection of full-text U.S. newspapers.  Includes staff written articles, obituaries, announcements, births and deaths.

Access World News- A searchable collection of international and U.S. news sources from scores of countries on six continents, translated into English when written in other languages.

Illinois Newspapers- Searchable archives from over 60 titles from across Illinois.

News Tribune Archives- View the archives for the LaSalle News Tribune from home or in the library.

Illinois Work Net**This is a place for Illinois' job seekers and businesses to connect to resources and services. This can be used from home with a Reddick Library card.

Heritage Quest**- This online database is an essential collection of unique material for both genealogical and historical researchers, with coverage dating back to the late 1700s. Researchers can use HeritageQuest Online to find their ancestors, trace their paths across America, and learn what life was like in the areas where they settled.

Ancestry Library - The Ancestry Library Edition collection has approximately 4,000 databases including key collections such as U.S. Federal Census images and indexes from 1790 to 1930. The Map Center contains more than 1,000 historical maps: American Genealogical Biographical Index ; Daughters of the American Revolution Lineage ;The Great Migration Begins: Immigrants to New England, 1620-1630; Social Security Death Index ; WWI Draft Registration Cards; Federal Slave Narratives; and a strong Civil War collection. This service is available in the library only. Come in and ask us about it.

Novelist - Novelist K-8 - Novelist K-8 Plus - Novelist Plus** - Find books to read by Favorite Author, Title, or Series name. Or, use “Describe a Plot” to find books based on WHO the story is about, WHAT happens in the story, WHEN the story takes place, and WHERE the story takes place.

Chilton Online Auto Repair Maunals **- ChiltonLibrary.com represents the most authoritative automotive repair information available to car owners. There are thousands of year, make, & model combinations covering the most popular vehicles of the past 30 years, plus additional coverage of specialty models.

Auto Repair Reference Center**- Contains information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles; with repair information for most major makes starting as far back as 1954.

TumbleBooks-TumbleBooks is a collection of animated, talking picture books for children of all ages. Educational games and Language Learning (Spanish and French) are features of this "e-library for e-kids". This can be accessed from home. Click on the link to sign in automatically. Price It!**- An antique/collectibles pricing tool, containing data from a variety of sources, including online auctions (eBay), online antique dealers (GoAntiques & TIAS) and land-based auction houses. The database currently has over 23 million prices realized for art, antiques and collectibles in more than 100 categories and subcategories with over 10 million images.

Includes real estate contracts, wills, pre-marital agreements, bankruptcy, divorce, landlord tenant, & many others. Also included is a comprehensive attorney state directory & a dictionary of legal definitions explained in laymen's language.
