Leap Frogs is a story hour for children who have turned three years old. Younger siblings have the opportunity to attend Tiny Tadpoles during this time. Adults are encouraged to allow their child to participate in the activities with their peers and to not sit with a different group. One of our goals is to teach the children to be part of a classroom and prepare them for the transition to kindergarten; however, parents must remain in the building. Morning sessions begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Tiny Tadpoles are special storytimes for out tiniest patrons where a parent or caregiver is a part of the program. Stories, fingerplays, music, social playtime, and peer interactions are incorporated into the 55 minute program. Penny Basenhard (Mrs. B), the facilitator, is a former Kindergarten and Preschool teacher.

Sessions begin promptly at 10:05 a.m. Sign up for either Tuesday or Wednesday programs.

This class will expose children who are homeschooled to great artists and their works. Children will be allowed to explore the art of each artist that is discussed with hands-in experience creating projects in a variety of media.

This class meets in the Library Annex from 10:00 to Noon.

Stop into the Library Annex any time from 1:00-3:00 to get a henna tattoo from local artist, Theresa Smith.

Each tattoo takes about 15 minutes to apply & another 15 minutes to dry.

Snax provided while you're drying!

No registration is required but you must have a signed parental consent!
