Leap Frogs is a story hour for children who have turned three years old by September 1, 2009. Younger siblings have the opportunity to attend Tiny Tadpoles during this time. Parents are encouraged to leave their child to participate in the activities alone with their peers. One of our goals is to teach the children to be part of a classroom and prepare them for the transition to kindergarten; however, parents must remain in the building.
Tiny Tadpoles are special storytimes for the library's tiniest patrons where a parent or caregiver is a part of the program. Stories, fingerplays, music, social playtime, and peer interactions are incorporated into the 55 minute program. Penny Basenhard (Mrs. B), the facilitator, is a former Kindergarten and Preschool teacher.
Program held in the library annex.
For boys & girls in 4th-6th grades who have valid Reddick Library cards.
*Registration is required by Tuesday, October 20. Program must have a minimum of 8 children registered or it will be cancelled.

Any age may attend, but programming is geared towards children from 6 months to 6 years with a parent or caregiver. Adults are kindly asked to participate in this storytime with their child/ren.
This program begins at 6:00pm on Wednesday evenings.

This class will expose children to great artists and their works. Children will be allowed to explore the work of each artist that is discussed with hands-on experience creating projects in a variety of media.
"A Teeny Tiny Halloween" - Ages 3 through 3rd grade
Non-violent costumes are optional.
A special guest has been scheduled for the evening!
For girls ages 3-10 with a lady chaperone who is at least 18 years old.
Children must have valid Reddick Library cards & a ticket to attend.
Tickets will be available beginning Monday, October 19.
(Limited to 24 girls with chaperons.)
