Employment Opportunity: Page/Shelver

The Reddick Public Library District has an immediate opening for a year-round Page/Shelver, 12-15 hour per week position that includes days and weekends.  Duties include retrieving, shelving, and organizing materials on the shelves; and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.  High school diploma or equivalent.
2.  Ability to file accurately, both alphabetically and numerically.
3.  Ability to bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs.
4.  Ability to respond to customers in a pleasant, mature manner.

With the new Downton Abbey movie coming to theaters, historical portayer Lynn Rymarz shares the story of Lady Catherine,  Countess of Carnarvon. Hear the facinating true story of how Catherine Wendell, an American-born woman, met and married the Sixth Earl of Carnarvon, and made a life for herself and her family living in the Highclere Castle, the real home for the setting of Downton Abbey. Tea and refreshments will be served following the event. Tickets are required as seating is limited. Tickets must be acquired in person at the library
