Who can get a card?

Library cards are provided free of charge to all residents of the Reddick Library district as part of your tax-supported library services.

How do I obtain or renew a library card?

A valid photo ID is required to obtain or renew a library card. If your valid photo ID does not have your current address in Reddick Public Library District, you must provide one (1) additional proof of residency. Proofs of residency include:

  • Voter's registration card
  • Vehicle registration
  • Checkbook
  • Recent bill (dated within 30 days of library card application)
  • Official mail (no personal letters)
  • Bank statement
  • Lease agreement
  • Recent pay stub
  • Tax bill *required for individuals who own property in our library district but reside outside our library district*

You may check out two (2) items (excluding equipment) on the day that you register for a new library card. Your library card will be mailed to you.

What if I’m under 18 years old?

If you are under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must register/renew on your behalf.
